Evolutionarily speaking, our unconscious goal in mating is to pass our genes on to the next generation. To explain attraction scientifically, we’re basically looking at a mate to size up if they can help us produce healthy offspring. But it goes deeper than looks.

Sure, various health indicators such as facial symmetry and physique are factored in, but they aren’t all-important and definitive. There are ways to make yourself appear more physically attractive, such as:

Smiling easily (shows confidence)
A Strong, confident posture
Careful grooming

So we see two instances of confidence. Most girls point to this as the #1 characteristic they look for in a man who approaches them. Stand up straight and smile easily and you will appear more confident, and thus more attractive.

Also, don’t stand there staring and trying to work up the nerve to talk to her. She’ll notice and realize that you AREN’T confident. Trust me, they have radar for guys that orbit around them for too long without saying anything.

Go IN right away. Even if you can only manage to say “Hi” before you run away like a little girl, upon reflection, you’ll realize that she said “Hi” back and didn’t start screaming or begin laughing at you. Start doing it more and more. I promise you, it will get easier and easier.
