Let’s delve deeper into the concept of “testing”, and why girls do it (and, what to do when it happens to you).
Basically, “testing” is her way of QUICKLY finding out what you’re made of, without becoming too involved with you.
Beautiful women are approached CONSTANTLY throughout their day…basically every man they meet tries to pick them up or flirt in some way.
Women can FEEL your intentions, even before you’ve said a word. They develop a radar for it after being in these interactions SO many times more than you.
Try and imagine what it would be like if you became a “fat chick magnet” and every big-boned girl in the land came out of the woodwork and flirted with you all day long, tried to touch you, grab you, sit in your lap, etc.
You would know what was up from the word GO! It’s not so much that they see you in the same light, their attraction switches are triggered differently than ours…I’m just making a point.
Now, if a woman is “available”, she must figure out a way to “separate the men from the boys” so to speak, and figure out if a particular man is going to be worth her time.
This is where TESTING comes into play.
Also, if an attractive woman is out on a date with a man, or having a phone conversation, etc.(or anything else that could be perceived as taking things to the next level) she must find out quickly whether this particular guy is:
1. Long-term relationship material
2. Short-term “fling” material
3. “Let’s Just Be Friends” material
4. Chode material
5. George McFly in “Back To The Future”
Keep in mind, a beautiful woman has NUMEROUS options. She’s being approached probably 100+ times a month with date offers, etc. and could never hope to spend even a small fraction of her time with all the men who are interested in her.
She must use TESTS to quickly cut to the chase and find out what a particular guy is REALLY all about.
Now, since we’ve firmly established that women test us, here are some of the most common ways:
1. Flaking out on dates and plans with little or no notice.
2. Asking for gifts or favors when you barely know her. (I call this “My Humps Syndrome”)
3. Being bratty, demanding, overly dramatic, or manipulative to see if you’ll put up with it
4. Listing things she doesn’t like about your behavior
5. Playing you against another guy in her life.
…and so on.
You already know, girls will use more SUBTLE tests as well.
One example is, complaining that you don’t answer her directly, to see if she can get you to.
Or telling you that you’re doing something annoying to her.
The main problem is giving in to these tests and thus giving her all of your power.
Solution: You never want to accept her terms. You know it’s a test when you start to notice these behaviors, so don’t play the game by the rules that she’s setting.
The easiest thing to do is pretend it didn’t happen. You can also blow by the test and test her back. (Just don’t be obvious about it.)
Her: What kind of car do you drive?
You: Do you always dress like that?
Her: What do you do for work?
You: (cough) Do you have a tissue?
Her: What kind of degree do you have?
You: I went to McDonald’s Burger College…I have a Masters in Fryology and a B.A. in kangaroo meat.
So there’s three examples of dodging the issue, and here’s why you DO NOT ANSWER with, “I drive a Porsche” or “I’m a lawyer” even if these answers actually apply.
First, if she’s asking what kind of car you own, and you barely know her…you probably don’t want to know her. That example was just for demonstration purposes.
She is tempting you to lie (in order to please her). Also, if you tell the truth, you’re not much better off - because to respond logically to a boring, stupid rhetorical question will make you look like a boring, logical guy who will jump through ANY hoop she puts up — Not the guy who can lead her in a fun, interesting way.
You have to be more of a challenge.
